Upgrades for guests in 2 diff. Hiltons simultaneously?

Hi.

I'm HHilton Gold and looking to have family members in Chicago this summer. I stopped in at the Palmer House and the Hilton and Towers yesterday to verify with the HH concierges whether I could upgrade guests as a Gold myself. I am not looking to pull a fast one here.

As previously reported on FT, I got basically the same answer at each:

If I make the room reservations (preferably online) and use my HHilton number and pay for the rooms myself, I can upgrade 2 rooms for family/friends, assuming availability of course.

Then a question hit me this morning: Can I upgrade 2 rooms for the same nights at each hotel, making 4 upgrades at once?

Anybody try this?

I've always received same treatment for both rooms, including exec floors, lounge access, food vouchers/pastry for bounceback stays, etc.
