Hello,
I have been studying the "Hilton Master status match thread" I could not get any of my questions answerd there. please be nice I am new to this status match thing. What do I have to do to get a status match?? I am a Platinum with Marriott and am looking to stay more with Hilton next year. What do I have to do?

Not sure about matching platinum to a HH diamond level, but I know they offer a "fast track to Gold" program if you call and ask about it. If my memory is right, I think if you stay 4 times within 3 months you automatically get Gold status.

Yes. And eeeeeeeverybody has a gold card nowadays.... It's a real pain getting an upgrade as a gold these days... Sucks.
