How to do this???

I have a reservation for 3 rooms on a bounceback rate w/ 2 buffet breakfast for 75$ per nts in LVH from 12/26-28.

LVH is running a special of 2for1 buffet, 25$ per person spa cert & 59$. But I know that the 2for1 buffet is only for 1 per stay and the max spa cert. is 2 per room.

Can I stay 1 day with the special LVH rate and the next day change to the bounceback?

How can I do this? Any body done this before?

Thanks!

Cindy

Have not had exactly the same situation but when I come across different rates for different dates, I will just make seperate bookings and then inform at check-in that I have additional bookings, so that I do not have to check-out and re-check-in. No problems so far. Sometimes they will link the different bookings up quite quickly but not always. I have a feeling it depends on the person's ability to use the system rather than the system itself.

In the even that LVH forbids you from doing this, the worst case is for you to make seperate bookings and then check-out and check-in again. I am sure even this won't take too much time, assuming you want to stay in the same room ;).

Do let us know how it works out for you.

Agreed -- just do separate reservations back-to-back. I would bring it up upon arrival so that they can flag the 2nd reservation to be assigned to the same room. A worst case scenario is that they might ask you to change rooms for the different "rates" - if so (and I think that's only a remote possibility), I would expect them to cooperate with you on logistics.

A reminder that back-to-back reservations at the same property means one stay credit and one set of "airline miles" for double-dipping not two, so you might want to set your HHonors preference to Points + Points for that stay as you'd be entitled to the 50% extra points on the entire bill [for the two most expensive rooms] as staying back-to-back doesn't matter with that option.

This can be done, but it must be tricky. The two times I have done it, it was screwed up and I ended up locked out of my room temporarily. Be patient and friendly and all will be well eventually.
