Who will play with me , a Diamond requalification game

Hi,

i was looking at my basepoints, stays and nights.

I was wondering which one will requalify me first for diamond.

So my stats are :

Qualifying Stays Completed: 22
Qualifying Nights Completed: 26
Qualifying Base Points Earned: 44099

I have this week and until december booked

Conrad Tokyo : 4 days (first stays)
Hilton Shanghai: 4 days (sec. stay)
Hilton Phuket: 4 days (3rd stay)
Hilton Phuket : 6 days (4th stay)

Qualifying Stays Completed: 22 + 4= 26 - 4 =22
(because i had 4 stays in 2004 september)

Qualifying Nights Completed: 26 + 18 = 44 nights
Qualifying Base Points Earned: 44099 + 30000 = 74099

So my goal now is too qualify for diamond in each categorie at the same time.

So my 28th Stay will kick me over 100000 Basepoints and will be my 60th night

Anyone wants to join in that little game???

A. That assumes you've got the rolling tier thing figured out exactly -- a questionable assumption at best .

B. Wa-a-a-a-y too much time on your hands.

I'm on the verge of hitting the trifecta:

100,000+ Points
60+ Nights
28+ Stays

No. I'm not proud of this.

Timothy

Ok... maybe a little.

Requalified diamond on nights 9/16,stays 9/ 29 and points on 10/3.
The interesting part is that on 10/1 my rolling tier said I would requalify again by earning 673 points by january 2006.As I have now done this on 10/3 do i get 2 more years?Unfortunately I doubt it.

I have always been a little confused about the 100k points qualification. Well...actually I am usually confused about most things..

Base points equal..the 10 points per dollar you are awarded for a stay?
Bonus points per stay count don't count?
Thus...it would take $10,000. of revenue to equal the 100,000 points?

Outside points such as HHonors Visa, Walk for Hope, etc. do not count.

Is that the way it works.

I'm sooo sad! My life in Hilton Hotels and I still don't know if I requalify as Diamond to December 2006, March 2007, December 2007, or even March 2008...

Yes, you need to score $10,000 excluding (some) tax. However all charges (excl some tax) to your room count towards the 100,000 base points needed. Also if you pay for the room and expenses of one colleague staying at the same time as you at a hotel this will count to the $10,000. This might lead to company expenses claims however..

Do they reset the stays each year? Mine shows:

Current Point Balance: 215,220
Qualifying Stays Completed: 29
Qualifying Nights Completed: 120
Qualifying Base Points Earned: 113246

I don't understand this whole rolling-tier thing because it shows I need 4 more nights by the end of March 2006 or 2 more stays by the end of March 2006. Does that mean I'm qualified until the end of March 2007?

Starting Monday night I will be in a hotel every night through the end of December so I should be good for a long time... But I still don't understand it...

I am confused about this as well. There has got to be a way to get to the bottom of this rolling tier thing.
