Friends are booked 3-13 > 3/16. They would like at least to stay 3/14 > 3/16.
Thanks.

Have you experimented with some MVP codes with different dates within that range?

MVP is not being accepted for those dates. This is a weekend during many schools' Spring Break.

Effective January 1, 2018, this property has started to charge for parking. $13.00 per day self park.

Do you mean effective January 1, 2018?

Yes, the effective date is 1/1/2018. I passed by the property yesterday and there is an electronic gate to control the parking lot area. Personally, I find the parking charge, at an off strip location, to be offensive. The hotel did just complete a complete update to their rooms. If you think your rates aren't high enough, then just raise them.

I just completed a stay here (checked out yesterday, 1/21/18). The gates are installed, but are open and they are not YET charging for parking. I believe they're going to be charging because they're so close to the convention center. A lot of hotels near the convention center have started charging for parking. I'm not endorsing the decision, but it seems to be the current trend. In any case, the parking lot in front of the building is valet only, and the self-parking is around the back of the building. You can't enter any of the side or rear doors without a key, so if you're not using a digital key, I would suggest unloading at the front door before you pull around. The good news is that the digital key will apparently work on the parking gates when they are operational. When I did mobile check-in, it asked me if I wanted to add self-parking to my digital key. I said yes, but of course didn't get charged.

As far as the property itself, I would NOT stay here again. It's VERY noisy. The building doesn't seem to be constructed as well as some other ES's I've stayed in. You can hear everything next door and above, and the noise from slamming doors is much harsher than I've experienced in most other hotels.

The room remodel is nice, but very cosmetic (of course). The building infrastructure seems to be in very poor shape. Even though my individual heat/ac was off, the building ventilation system and/or plumbing was making very loud, annoying noises all night long. I mentioned this upon checking out, and the FDC acted like he hadn't heard this before, which seemed pretty remarkable to me.

Just completed a stay over CES weekend and this property's a lot of fun.

Walked in shortly after 10 PM expecting to get some sleep, and got walked instead. Figured we were going to get kicked to one of the many Hilton properties on the strip, but I almost laughed when I heard we were getting sent to Tuscany Suites instead. We had a car, so transport wasn't an issue, though I'm curious if they were willing to foot the transport bill otherwise.

Anyway, we drove up to Tuscany Suites to get checked in and ended up talking with one of the night managers who had only been in for 6 weeks at this point. Apparently, Embassy Suites never called them about the walk and just figured they'd handle it. This was sometime past midnight at this point and she spent the next half hour grilling Embassy Suites and asking the day manager on how to process the stay. Hilarious.

Fast forward to the next day after a very tiring day walking the show floor to get checked in again at the Embassy Suites. We finally got a room this time, somewhere on the third floor, and walked in to a very musty and tired room. It's technically a suite, but the space was tiny between the two rooms and a studio suite would've probably been a lot more comfortable, especially if you're going to stuff 6 people here as per the max occupancy rating.

I was surprised to hear that this property was recently remodeled, because all the furniture was worn out and needed to be replaced ages ago. The couch was especially saggy - one side more so than the other - and none of the furniture or the TV looked recent. But eventually we figured out why the room smelled musty: the ventilation fan in the bathroom was no longer running, one of the two lamps were out, and there was mold around the shower. Not pictured is pink mold on the shower curtains which leads me to believe that they never washed it? It takes a spray of bleach and like 30 seconds to get rid of. Also not included as part of the amenity set is the bottle of Le Labo, which I 'borrowed' from one of the Park Hyatts.

After this, we talked with another manager who agreed to move us to a room that they would inspect ahead of time. The second room didn't smell musty, but the complaints from the first room were mostly the same. Instead of a saggy couch, the fabric threads were pulled out and frayed, the shower walls were (probably) mold-free but the grout was still brown all over, and there was... pink paint?... splattered over one of the bedroom walls by the window.

Of the positives: the employees here were pretty nice and receptive to our complaints and mostly addressed them; the fitness center is actually open 24/7, has a peloton and free weights, as well as a water dispenser; and the nightly free drink was a decent perk for not having any resort fees. Also, our points were refunded and they never tacked on any parking fees, so it could've been worse.

I stayed here a few weeks ago, as part of a brief visit to Las Vegas to see U2 at The Sphere. And the point that is now evident is that this is the nearest Hilton venue for The Sphere. Indeed somewhat difficult to miss from the hotel itself, this was the view from my half-balcony for room 924.

The venue is walking distance, around 10 minutes, best to cross to The Sphere side of Sands Avenue by the 7-Eleven gas station near the hotel, rather than later on. The main East entry to The Sphere isn't well signed, but the VIP entrance is and the main entrance is slightly out of sight to the left of the VIP entrance as you approach from the hotel.

The hotel is also within easy reach of the airport bus 108, particularly going to the airport, the stop is opposite Mardi Gras motel. And the Convention Center's monorail station is also nearby, so getting on to The Strip is fairly easy. The Venetian Resort is the other side of The Sphere, so walkable. There are not a lot of catering options very close to the hotel though, but the 2 gas stations nearby do have mini marts. The ES does have a lively bar, with food options, as well the usual over-priced pantry.

The hotel itself is out of ES Central Casting in terms of atrium and furnishings. It is overdue a refurbishment, and some parts of my room were a bit bashed, but it was clean, tidy and everything worked.

The staff, in my limited interactions with them, were helpful and friendly, and using the Chat facility within the Hilton App got fairly quick answers. They were able to accommodate me arriving at 14:00 hrs. A lot of store is placed on the breakfast ticket, apparently no ticket, no breakfast, and no ticket means buying a replacement. The hotel uses Digital Key, that worked well for me, but clearly the breakfast ticket needs to be collected from reception.

My room 924 - and those adjoining and opposite do get to hear some noise from the mid hotel elevators. The internal door inside the room dealt with most of that, but next time I would probably choose a room further away from the elevators.

On the plus side (at least from my perspective) this hotel has no casino attached and is very much smoke-free.
