Point "Compressor" Dates for 2005
 

Like this time last year, no "Point Stretcher" dates have been listed for the coming year - and 2005 is a few hundred hours away. If 2005 is like 2004, we won't see the 2005 dates until a good portion of 2005 is gone.

It takes a lot more points to get a free night now. Thus, our higher number of points have been "compressed" to fit into the updated reward program.

Maybe this can be the thread for the 2005 Point Stretcher watch? Anyone see a 2005 Point Stretcher posting?

Has anyone ever approached their favorite GM or property HH manager and said, "Do you have any point stretcher dates in first quarter next year?"

You'd think some properties would want to take advantage of PS during a traditionally slow time of year for most areas outside of the Florida sun or western ski destinations.

Last year, Adam claimed that the delay was due to a system upgrade. I'm sure some property operators were as frustrated as we were -- and continue to be.

The Palmer House is one of the hotels with PS on their Website for Jan. & Mar. 2005--& Blackout Dates till the end of 2006 :eek: !
Also Hilton Pittsburgh. Seems 2B a USA thing. Haven't found any intl. hotels with PS yet.
