SLH (Small Luxury Hotels) Joins Hilton

They were previously with Hyatt - seems like they are leaving.

Wonder if this has anything to do with Hyatt now having Mr and Mrs Smith

Seems like a promising development, always keen to see new luxury hotels being added to Hilton.

Interested to see how HH redemptions works here, could be some good opportunities for outsized value.

This caught me by absolute surprise. I was expecting IHG to stab back at Hyatt by picking up SLH, but Hilton? Way out of left field. Color me very intrigued.

Hotel list

Does anyone know where I can find a list of the SLH brand hotels and locations? I can not seem to find anything via my quick searches. Thanks!

As a brief overview of my understanding of their previous partnership with Hyatt, you could only earn Hyatt credit through booking on Hyatt.com (either redemptions or inflated cash rates compared to booking direct). There were no status benefit differences - instead all members received free breakfast, 2 PM late checkout, and a one-category room upgrade.

I stayed at a SLH property last year and if i remember riggt, booking on hyatt or direct were same price. Obviously anectdotal with 1 data point doesnt mean much.
