You incorrectly understood the T&C. The solution is obvious and has been in place for at least a decade...

Did three nights at eligible x3 properties in Dubai and only earnt x2 points. Only Hilton customer care say the properties are not on the "list" for x3.

It's like arguing with a ChatGPT that only speaks corporate nonsense:

I apologize for the inconvenience and understand how frustrating this situation can be. Thank you for taking time out of your day to contact us. I will gladly assist you in regards to your missing points.

Please be advised that DoubleTree M Square Dubai and DoubleTree Business Bay Dubai are not eligible to receive the 3x points as they are not one of the 3x points participating hotels. Please click here to receive the list of qualifying hotels.

Thank you for being an honorary Hilton Honors Diamond member. You can reach us at any time at [email protected].

Okay, turns out I was partly wrong.... I was expecting the "bonus" line to show x3 points. But part of the x3 points are the base points.

So I just got my Amex Hilton Aspire and I have to make a reservation at one of the 3x hotels. I am trying to understand this: typically I would get 34X between base, 100% multiplier from Diamond, and the extra for Aspire. But with 3X promo, I will get 54x since the 3X seems to be applied to the base? If so, that's a 32.4% return on value!! That's amazing! Is this multiplier for the total before tax? What about resort fees, tax, etc? Thanks everyone, I am new to this but excited to explore more Hilton properties after having very positive experiences this year from Hampton Inns to Conrads (well, 1 Conrad )

Various bonuses don't mutiply each other - each bonus is calculated from the base points. For example, if you pay 300 USD, you'll get 3000 base points + 3000 diamond bonus + 6000 promo bonus = 12 000 points (+1000 MyWay points). Plus whatever you get from the credit card.

I've managed to earn 50 points per dollar recently thanks to the combination of Diamond bonus + autumn promo + Impressario bonus, which I thought was pretty cool and I value it to a return of around 25%.

10x base
20x promo
10x diamond

Plus whatever card you use

The first category only gets on the room rate and most room charges while the credit card you get on everything, including taxes and fees.

This is how Hilton have carried out their 2x and 3x forever. One extra bonus line for double, and two extra in one line for triple.

ChatGPT HH was right.

Not really, since they provided an incorrect reason why the points posted are correct. They claimed that the hotel doesn't participate in 3x points, when it clearly does and OP actually got 3x points.

Yes, I was expecting the bonus line to literally be x3 points on top of the base points. Obviously I was wrong!

And yes the initial message from HH about the hotel being ineligible was wrong, and just about the standard of replies you can expect from the US based guest relations specialists.

It makes sense that when you book two rooms, both on a 2X (3X) Points Package rate, you will receive double (triple) points for both of them, because you paid extra for those points.

Promotional offers are limited to one room only, is what I think, but I am not 100% certain about it and I couldn't find any recent promo T&Cs to demonstrate that this thought is right.
Called Hhonors and was told only one room gets the promo bonus although they have seen the system count more than one room when its all billed to the same folio.
