Hilton will sometimes make corrections to recent entries in your account with no notice and this can look like an inexplicable loss of points. For example, a folio for a past stay may have been updated with a reduced final amount resulting in a reduction in the points awarded Or back-to-back stays may get collapsed into a single stay which may result in fewer points. It's hard to find these silent changes as there is no running account balance maintained on the web site. I maintain my own running balance so if points disappear I know where the issue is. I'd look through your recent account activity and see if there is anything unusual. I've had recent problems with points from Lyft rides. Good luck.
