Short of stays this year.

I've been so confused with all the conditions, extensions etc for requalifying for Diamond this year.

It looks like I'm short of 6 stays.

Does this mean I lose Diamond on January 1st? And I need to start from the beginning?

Hi,

Are you counting the recent stays as double? ( and the reduced stay requirements for 2022)

You would go down to what status you earned this year from March ( ie keep your Diamond Benefits until end of March)

When you open the app, what does the tracker say? I have personally requalified by nights not by stays ... As TBS says, the double promo can still help you - there are 4 nights left this year, with the promo you will be credited 8 nights, getting 8 stays is dependent on whether you have two different Hilton properties around to switch stays back and forth.

First of all, the "double elite nights" promo does NOT double stays. Just nights...

Secondly, all of 2021's elite nights rolled over to 2022. You need 42 elite nights for Diamond and 28 for Gold. So you had to have really stopped staying at Hilton to not be in the ballpark of Gold or Diamond.

I concur, the AMEX Aspire provides Diamond status as well as other benefits to having the card.
