Came here because of this notice I just got in email.
Nice I suppose... won't do much for me as I am already qualified Diamond for next year - with 60 rollover nights from last year, I'm at 127 nights this year so far.
At least other promotions are still valid (double points and 2x points for weekday checkout)

Got the email as well. I 'm in a current stay, began yesterday. Registered for the promo. Does anyone know if the promo will count towards this stay? Terms state "members must first register at HiltonHonors.com/doublenightcredit prior to completing a stay within the Promotion Period." Bolding mine.

Offer valid for stays completed October 11 – December 31, 2022 (“Promotion Period”) at any hotel or resort within the Hilton Portfolio. Hilton Honors™ members must first register at HiltonHonors.com/doublenightcredit prior to completing a stay within the Promotion Period. Registered Hilton Honors members will earn double night credit per stay during the Promotion Period. Double night credit means one additional, tier qualifying night credit will be awarded for each night stayed in the promo period. Registered Hilton Honors members will receive double night credit for all nights completed in the Promotion Period, regardless of a check-in date before the Promotion Period begins or a check-out date after the Promotion Period ends. Double nights will count towards Hilton Honors members’ 2022 night count and will be eligible for rollover night credit. There is no limit to the total amount of double night credits that may be earned during the Promotion Period with this offer. Additional terms and conditions: • A 'stay' is defined as the total number of consecutive nights spent at the same hotel, whether or not a guest checks out and checks back in again. • Offer is not valid for groups and cannot be combined with other select offers. • In-Room Internet Access, Fitness Center/Health Club Access and Bottled Water benefits may not be complimentary at properties with a resort charge. • Space-available upgrades only available at select brands. I don't see anything in the Ts&Cs that points stays are not eligible.
Hope they are - have 8 coming up this month.

Double nights will count towards Hilton Honors members’ 2022 night count and will be eligible for rollover night credit.
They normally don't. Just like rollover.

If you are in a position to earn rollover nights this year, that means that your rollover nights from 2021 were irrelevant.
If any rollover nights you earn from the promotion end up being crucial next year, that means you stayed relatively few nights in 2023 (and therefore your Diamond status wasn't really needed...)

For 2024 I understand that rollover nights would be above 60, so in your case 8 nights for 2024 re qualification.
110 nights - 42 nights 2022 - 60 nights 2033 = 8
