Hilton "Add to Calendar" function broken

This has been annoying me for several months. Does anyone else try to use this feature on the website from the link provided in the email confiation? Sometimes (rarely) it downloads a .ics file that I can import into my calendar. More often than not it takes me to a web page to find my reservation. Once I add my confirmation number or log in, there's no option to generate a .ics file. I add the calendar entry manually but I would rather not type it all in again. This feature used to work fine. If there is a calendar download option somewhere on the Hilton website for existing bookings I'd be grateful if someone would point me to it. Thanks.

Seems to still add automatically when I book on the app via my iPad.

When I do it via Android I get nothing. As far as I recall it never worked for me

FWIW:

I have this same problem, in the Apple universe. On my laptop, using Safari and iCalendar, I get an error message from Hilton '400 Bad Request'.
I agree, it's very annoying to have to manually enter your reservation info into one's calendar.
At one time, this feature worked and reservation info would create a calendar event.

The easiest option is to Send the reservation to Calendar in the Hilton app on the iPhone. Use the up arrow when viewing the reservation in Stays. You don't need to book on your iPhone.

I use the copy link function (from the add to caleneder field) and copy and paste it manually into Edge. This usually solves it and the ics file is downloaded to my hard drive and I can save it to outlook

Unfortunately, this is not available on the current version of the Hilton app. I see no way right now (app, web) to add a reservation to calendar.

Strange. It's still working in my version. Do you not see this?

Which generates this page which has the Calendar option

No, my options there went from Copy to New Quick Note. No Calendar. I then deleted and reinstalled the app, and it came back!

It looks like the app has been enhanced over the last couple of days and there's no longer a way that I can see to create a calendar entry from a stay. Annoying. It's been working beautifully for some time.
