Points in the City Promo Starts February 3, 2022
Here is a new promo in my Hilton account today!
Offer valid for stays completed between February 3, 2022 – May 1, 2022 (“Promotion Period”) at any hotel or resort within the following markets: Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, Dallas, TX, Houston, TX, Las Vegas, NV, Los Angeles, CA, New Orleans, LA, New York, NY, Orlando, FL, San Francisco, CA, San Diego, CA, Seattle, WA, Washington, DC within the Hilton Portfolio. Hilton Honors members must first register at https://www.hiltonhonors.com/en_US/points-in-the-city/enroll/ prior to completing a stay within the Promotion Period. Registered Hilton Honors members checking in before February 3, 2022 will receive Bonus Points for their stay if the stay is completed on or after February 3, 2022 and prior to or on May 1, 2022. Registered Hilton Honors members will earn 2,500 bonus points per stay during the Promotional Period. There is no limit to the total amount of Bonus Points that may be earned during the Promotion Period with this offer.

Let me be the one to ask the stupid question ... but is this not a "downsized" version of the already running alternative offer that almost everyone here harshly criticised ... Quoted from Hilton's own website:

I registered but will need to look at the hotels since sometimes I am downtown and others SFO I am really in Santa Clara. SEA is bellevue etc.
