I think we got there in the end (probably we finally ended up with a decent agent), but frustrating that what felt like a fairly standard request was met with such unlimited confusion.
In my case I have 3 reservation for my coming trip. I email CR general information and listed all the numbers. Their reply email listed my 3 different reservation # , and they do the combine ( in back ground automatically) .

Regarding the room upgrade with cash, I told them from this time to this time period, I like to upgrade from water villa to Beach deluxe. They will note it in their reservation. That is how my case has been handle.

The last email conversation regarding dinner plan, I was told I can make reservation after arrival.
Now reading the post here, I may not able to do so if it takes 30 days to make a reservation for dinner plan.

@ ScubaRoo,

I do not mind waiting for 30 minutes for the buggy, but after 30 minutes (was told by CR staff) , no buggy show up . I have to call 2nd time or 3 rd time again and waiting for another 20 -30 more minutes again . That's is really a very bad service in my opinion . Specially my travel partner has mobility problem and we rely on buggy to get around the resort.

You are incredibly patient. Even 30 minutes is a ridiculous amount of time to wait for a buggy. Why can't they just spend a few dollars for more buggies or more staff to drive the buggies?

Or the ability to hire your own buggy like on Hamilton Island!

Im happy with the lack of buggies, more people should be walking.
anyway, I assume those times for restaurants are maximum booking dates, not minimum.
even at Easter with 100% occupancy (though lots of kids, so fewer fine diners) we got most reservations on the day or 1 day out.
If something is very important to you then get it in earlier, if not just go with the flow!

Absolutely agree for people who has no problem with their leg, but not apply to people who has health problem like ( polio disease). Does not mean they do not want to walk , but can not walk .
@jphripjah,
We do not have a choice and try out best to make the best of our vacation time.

Of course there are obvious exceptions.
More people walking would increase buggies for those who truly need them too, like the injured and unwell and old/young.

I used my Hilton Aspire AMEX to pay for my recent stay at the Conrad, However, it posted as "THE ST.REGIS VOMMULIVOMMULI" to my account!
No x14 points bonus or resort credit..

Anyone else had this problem happen in the past?

Why didn't you just tell the room boy instead of your host if it wasn't done as per your schedule on your first day? Instead you put up with it for multiple days. That's just silly.

These are, naturally, the earliest times you can make bookings.

It is considered quite rude and weird in Western society to listen to someone relate a simple personal experience and then shout "Give us a break!" and proceed to tell them in a condescending fashion what really happened, despite having absolutely no personal knowledge of what occurred.

Believe it or not, sometimes people understand clearly communicated requests yet don't fulfill them. This may be because they forget, or they are too busy doing something else, or they are lazy, or someone else asks them to do something else so they do that other thing instead.

Moreover, the experience that this poster relates is consistent with many other accounts posted here and on TripAdvisor recently about the decline in the quality of service at this property.

Somehow I think you target me on purpose when I post my comment here or at the WA thread?

How did you know I would not tell the room boy? Please do not jump to conclusion on your own.

I respect you as you have a lot of knowledge about the resort , but please , if you do not like to read my post, just ignore it.

and I have my host only until the second day after check in. After that we are on our own .
Small request such as to see the deluxe room for future stay was never granted.

To answer your question " why we put up with it". The answer is simple " we have no other choice"

I used the Aspire in August 2018, and the charge posted correctly as a Conrad and earned the 14x.

That's odd. Contact AMEX and insist they give you the points.

Was that meant to be in jest or is there some actual evidence to back that up?

If there is sufficient interest I will go around Atoll Market and take pics of every station from a Monday to a Sunday to show you guys exactly what's on offer. We had a quite a nice beef salad today and we're slowly noticing the changes and different items that they have on offer now.

I do hope they have something different each night as I have 5 dinners there!
