Hilton Honors Score More on Dining

Aspire has $20 credit per month, Surpass has $10 credit per month, and no-fee card has $5 credit per month.

Details and Offer Terms are copied from the American Express web site.

Details
Enroll in this offer to earn a $20 statement credit each month you spend $20 or more on eligible U.S. restaurant purchases with your Card. Whether it's dine-in, takeout or delivery, you can redeem this offer each month through December 2021. This is in addition to the Points you already earn with your Card. Terms Apply.

Offer Terms
You must first enroll in the offer by adding the offer to your Card. Only purchases made with your enrolled Card are eligible. Offer to enroll is available to existing Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card Members who are Basic Card Members prior to January 1, 2021. Limit of 1 enrolled Card per Card Member. You are eligible to enroll starting from February 1, 2021 through December 31, 2021. Offer ends December 31, 2021. Eligible purchases can be made by the Basic Card Member only. Your enrollment of an eligible American Express Card for this offer extends only to that Card. Starting from the time you enroll through December 31, 2021 (“Purchase Period”), you will earn one $20 statement credit each month after spending $20 or more in combined eligible purchases on your Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card at US restaurants (including takeout and third party delivery services) per month, during the Purchase Period, up to a total of $220 in statement credits. You may not earn a statement credit for purchases at a restaurant located within another establishment (e.g. a restaurant located inside a hotel, casino, or event venue). For example, purchases made at a restaurant located within a hotel may be recognized as a purchase at a hotel, not a restaurant. You also will not earn the statement credits for purchases at bars, nightclubs, cafeterias, and convenience stores. Eligible purchases are purchases for goods and services minus returns and other credits. Eligible purchases do NOT include fees or interest charges, cash advances, purchases of traveler's checks, purchases or reloading of prepaid cards, purchases of gift cards, person–to–person payments, or purchases of other cash equivalents. Additional terms and restrictions apply. Merchants are assigned codes based on what they primarily sell. A purchase will not be eligible if the merchant's code is not eligible. Purchases made through a third-party payment account or on an online marketplace (with multiple retailers) will not be eligible. A purchase may not be eligible if the merchant submits the purchase using a mobile or wireless card reader or if you use a mobile or digital wallet. Please allow 8-12 weeks after an eligible purchase is charged to your Card Account for statement credit(s) to be posted to the Account. Please call the number on the back of the Card if statement credits have not posted after 12 weeks from the date of purchase. To be eligible for this offer, Card Account(s) must not be canceled and not past due at the time of statement credit fulfillment. American Express reserves the right to modify or revoke offer at any time. If American Express in our sole discretion determines that you have engaged in abuse, misuse, or gaming in connection with the promotional offer in any way or that you intend to do so, we reserve the right to withhold or revoke statement credits from your Card account. American Express may also cancel this Card account and other Card accounts you may have with us. This offer is not transferrable. POID: K1LY:0001

Don't give up. Considering the number of offers for all those Hilton brands, they must want people to start booking and raise their revenue, so hopefully you'll see additional offers on your card.

Global Adventurer, can you do me a favor? While I don't have the offers yet, I know I might, so can you please tell me what the offers are for Hampton Inns and also if they have one for Curio? (how much spend/how much back) and also the expiration dates? Thank you.

Thanks, you just saved me some disappointment...our Curio stay is in July, and our other stay is a Hampton, so no go on both.

I have all the hilton offers only on my Am Ex Platinium. The other three Am Ex cards only have the Waldorf offer available. This sucks since I have a Doubletree stay coming up but would like to use my Hilton Am Ex instead for all the bonus hilton points. Still better off putting the first $225 on my platinum am ex and getting the $45 back than the Hilton points I'd earn

I did that at a Hilton Garden Inn last year. I booked the stay with my Hilton Amex Card, but on the third day I was there I did a separate direct transaction of about $225 on my bill and the rest of my bill was paid at checkout automatically on my Hilton Card that I presented upon checkin. So, I got the bonus points on the hilton card and the $50 credit on the plat card.

I have a Marriot offer that I can't use because it expires in 7 days in my stay isn't until 14 days and the pre-pay rate is twice as much Not worth searching around looking for a marriot where I'm at to buy a gift card, so that's another offer going to waste.

I did that a few years ago with no issues. I had an offer on my debit card for a good deal at Hilton and at checkout put whatever the minimum was for the offer on the debit card and the rest on my Hilton credit card. A little bit of a pain since you have to go down and physically check out to have it split, but was worth it.

PNC. They have offers you can add to you card like Am Ex and Chase does, in fact they have the same Paramount offer available now. Only time I use my debit card is if there is a good offer

Can you call the hotel and ask to pay a deposit in advance?

If it was in the US I would, but since it's in Mexico and it's a new hotel with "iffy" reviews, I decided to leave it alone. I actually booked a different hotel today and I'll be canceling that Marriot hotel reservation.

If you visit a restaurant in May, but the credit doesn't appear until June, does it still count as your May credit? Or did you not only miss out on your May credit but also use up your June?

Let's hope so. I guess I'll find out if and when the credit shows up for my June restaurant visit.
