Overlocked Stays?

I had a day stay at a Hilton property. I then checked out and moved to another Hilton property for a 3 night stay.
I've now had many issues trying to get my points / night credits to post / getting billed correctly.
8 calls later, everything is sorted except I'm now told I won't receive an elite night credit for my day stay as it 'overlocks' into the first night of my 3 night stay. Is this correct?
(I only booked the day stay to trigger my 40 night 10k bonus).

Thanks FTers

Unless a mistake is made, you can only receive one night credit for the same night, no matter how many hotels you stay in that night. The day rate if it received night credit (sometime they do sometimes they don't) would be for the night the evening of your check in for the day rate.
For example, you have a day rate for 10DEC you then check in for a three night stay checking in the evening of 10 DEC, checking out 13DEC, 3 night credits.

Yes, if you had checked out from the night stay Thursday, then had a Day Rate, you would get a credit for Thursday night. However, had you arranged a Day Rate Thursday and then had an overnight stay Thursday, you'd get one credit on this day.

You can get the points credit for the concurrent stays however. That is new. Only points though, and only the basic base credit.
