Hampton Inn & Suites Forest City {US-NC}
Stay Report - 2/4 - 2/5
Location: The hotel is located on US 74 ALT in rural Rutherford County ten minutes from the county seat of Rutherfordton. Nearby are a number of restaurants and a Walmart. It's easy to get around the area as US 74 ALT connects to US 221, 74 and 64.
Hotel: The hotel is nicely one of the newer construction Hampton Inns that's really nice to stay at. It has a large parking lot, bright and attractive lobby with a sweet shop, large dining area, two computer business center and outdoor pool. The elevators are quick and all the common areas are brightly lit and inviting.
Check In: Handled well by a friendly agent who offered me points or snack items as a Diamond benefit. Everyone working here was very friendly.
Room: A nice room in the newer style with great lighting, plenty of space and a design that makes the room seem bigger. The bathroom especially was nice and remodeled and I was glad there was work space.
Breakfast: Waffles, western omelets, sausage and French toast sticks were on offer plus cereal, fruit, yogurt and the usual cold items
I really like newer style Hampton Inns and this was no exception. I'd be back gladly.
