Does travel companion's status matter?

I'm a gold member and the booking is under my name, and my partner has a diamond status. Will we get gold benefit or diamond benefit?

Thank you!

You're entitled to gold benefits per the T&Cs. As always, you might get lucky with a specific hotel and receive on-property diamond benefits.

Hilton Honors members must be the registered, paying and staying guest to qualify for on-property benefits.

Both me and the missus are gold and sometimes we travel with her parents or mine. (2 rooms booked)

We have always been given the free breakfast for both rooms.

Do you book both rooms under one person or do you book a room and your wife books the other?

Both rooms were booked in my name from my HH account.

At checkin I usually ask about breakfast for both rooms and they usually take my wife's HH number at that point..

Not sure whether they consider her as the primary guest of room 2..
