Benefits if son makes booking
My son has booked and paid for a two night stay in a Hilton hotel for myself and my wife. I am a gold member and was wondering if I would be awarded any benefits like points and breakfast if I tell them at check-in that I am an Honours member.

As I read it the OP is already the named quest in the reservation (son purchased the stay for his parents).
Sure you will receive all benefits due for being HH G if you ask them to add your HH G to the reservation at check-in; it doesn't matter who paid for the stay.
