Flash Sale - Japan, Korea, Guam

I have been monitoring rates for an upcoming trip and noticed prices increased at the beginning of the week. That usually indicates a sale of some sort and finally located the details today. Link below if anyone interested.

https://hiltonhotels.jp/sale-en

Rates valid for bookings made 24 September 2019 (16:00 JST) and 27 September 2019 (16:00 JST). Stay must be completed between 24 September 2019 and 3 February 2020.

Fingers crossed for some decent rates over the holidays!

Thanks for sharing. Even the stated sale start time is still hours away, the rate is already bookable for me at a South Korean hotel.

Looks like Japan is showing now as well. Rates not that low unfortunately. My current booking through Amex FHR is actually cheaper than the nonrefundable fare sale.

They did a flash sale last year around November with good rates. Hopefully that comes around again this year.

^Thanks for the heads-up!

I spend about 50 nts per year in Tokyo and these flash sales really save me money.

Anyways else finding absolutely no availability?

ken123 Nov 25, 2019 10:20 pm

Same here, absolutely no availability.
Big disappointment!

I could have lived with a slight markup to make the effective discount actually 20-30%, but what is the point of a flash sale if you’re not going to offer any rooms during it???

triplefives Nov 25, 2019 10:37 pm

IT issues maybe? I find it hard to believe so many properties have no availability from the promotion.

chinatown Nov 25, 2019 10:40 pm

It's an IT issue. The Hilton Tokyo is available... they are probably slowly working down the list to load the rate calendars. Give it a few hours

TravelingZoomer Nov 26, 2019 1:31 am

It’s not in the namesake but Conrad Hong Kong is also available, I guess Hilton doesn’t want to involve itself in China geopolitics so just put it in “other category”
