Fast-track Offers and stay/nights
May be a bit of a strange question but thought I'd ask it anyway.
I'm currently an HH Gold and just a few nights away from Diamond. I earned HH Gold the old fashioned way through nights stayed but recently came across a fast track option with one of my credit cards where just 4 nights are required to earn HH Gold.
My question is, if I signed up for this offer and stayed 4 nights (which would have given me gold) would the additional nights I have already spent (or will spend) start accruing from the HH Gold threshold?

To reach Diamond, you need 30 stays or 60 nights. There are no shortcuts based on getting a Gold fast track.
