Hilton Visa Infinite Benefit?
 

Just noticed that my UBS Visa Infinite is now showing a Hilton properties benefit. I think it's new, I don't remember seeing it before. Not sure if this is a Visa Infinite benefit or exclusive to the UBS concierge, but here are the details:

– Complimentary breakfast for two people daily
– $100 USD hotel credit per stay, or local currency equivalent
– Next category upgrade, subject to availability
– Double Hilton Honors points
– VIP Guest Status
– Last Room Availability
– Automatic room upgrade upon arrival, when available
– Complimentary in-room Wi-Fi, when available

Seems to be good for Waldorf and Conrad properties. The double points part seems to imply that you get your status benefits as well, is that right? Seems like a really great deal (especially the $100 credit) IF I still get the same rates I'd get booking direct. Anybody familiar with the offer? Is it worth using? Thanks.

Not an answer, but there are very similar benefits offered for the "Luxury" Marriott brands, according to the benefits guide (St. Regis, RC, Edition, Bulgari, W, Luxury Collection).

-$50 dining or spa services credit for Suite bookings

I am curious if anyone has made use of these or the Hilton benefits via their UBS Visa Infinite. Frankly, I'm curious as to any experiences at all with this card - don't seem to be many folks that have it!

Assuming your looking at the same guide as me, I think those are actually the Mandarin Oriental benefits. The Marriott benefits are new too I think, but a little vague. This is nice to have some reasonably priced options on the card, I wasn't really able to use the hotel benefits before because I didn't want to spend $500+ a night.


It's been pretty great for me. The concierge has saved me many times the AF on airfare. Little known benefit is UBS considered the AF to be account fees, and UBS has a $500 account fee limit, so you end up with free UBS accounts. If I can start adding some hotel credits it just gets better.

Are you saying if you have multiple UBS credit cards, they cap the sum of annual fees at $500? Also, when you say concierge saved money on airfare, do you mean the $100 Visa Infinite benefit or that they offer better airfares all around than what you've found yourself? Thanks.

If you have the Visa Infinite you automatically qualify for the account fee waiver, but I'm not really sure what would happen if you had multiple cards. It's an interesting question. For the airfare in my case, I told the concierge I wanted to buy some sale price tickets, but I wanted dates that were outside the sale. The concierge put in some sort of request with the airline and was able to get me the tickets for the dates I wanted for the sale price, which saved me around $2k.
