I was gonna say breakfast as well. Especially since a lot of hotels will give you the full breakfast, and not just continental.

I would say breakfast as well, but I personally prefer the benefits of Marriott gold better than Hilton. Hilton is VERY stingy on the late check out and room upgrades while Marriott is not.

As a gold member it is a guaranteed 2:00 p.m. checkout, and many times they will extend it to 4:00 p.m. no questions asked. With Hilton it is like pulling teeth to try to get 2:00 p.m.

Hard to generalize because it can depend on the brand and individual property. For most full-service properties though, it's going to be the breakfast. Room upgrades are often not much of an upgrade, even for a diamond.

Interesting, because my experience with Marriott Gold on upgrades is exactly squat. Don't know about late checkouts as I don't use much.

Thought new gold didn’t have a guaranteed late checkout now it is 2pm if available. Titanium has guaranteed 4pm checkout though.

Hilton Breakfast has to be the best benefit and upgrades are still offered which is good.
