Breakfast - Fine Hotels vs. Hilton Gold
 

Hi all,

The Duniway Portland is a Hilton hotel and is also on Amex FHR. The latter program includes daily breakfast for two, but as Hilton gold I'm also entitled to breakfast.

Is it typically the same breakfast, or is my Honors benefit something cheaper like continental only?

You could call the hotel to ask about their breakfast for Gold if you still have questions.

My experience at that hotel as a diamond was that the breakfast allowance covers the main dish, but their $5 a la carte charge for coffee pushed the total over the allowance.

Were I forced to wager, I'd bet that the FHR deal is probably the same thing, which would be the easiest, consistent way for them to handle it.
