Arrow The Porter Portland, Curio Collection by Hilton {US-OR}

Surprised there is no thread on this.

Anyway, the fact it has a "wellness center" with hot and dry sauna may make it the best hotel in Portland. No lounge, $12 credit only for diamond breakfast (either cafe or restaurant), room is small but tastefully done.

Area of town is quiet/dead, which means plenty of available street parking.

OK, as promised a few comments on the Porter Hotel.

Booked a King Room (Park and Stay rate) for $239 per night excluding taxes. Got upgraded to a King Corner City View on the 7th floor.
The room is spacious and modern and features a safe, fridge (minibar), a sofa and large windows.
What we liked about the property:

- The check-in lady and bar staff were very friendly
- The room was clean and large
- The lobby and bar area are stylish
- The pool area with sauna, steam room and outdoor seating was very good. The bathrobes provided in the room very very fluffy.
- The bar is really good

What we didnt like about the property:

- Breakfast is advertised as complimentary in the App, yet as Diamond you get a $15 credit per person (max. $30 for a party of 2) which didnt cover our breakfast (coffee + food each).
- Housekeeping was not done at 4pm when we returned from a full day outside which I found disappointing and annoying.
- The rooftop bar closed at 6pm (!) on Sunday and was closed on Monday altogether.

The app advertises (and, more generally, the Hilton Honors program promises) complimentary continental breakfast. According to the posted menu, continental breakfast costs $12, so it seems the $15/person credit more than covers it.

Sounds kind of like the Duniway, where their $5 a la carte coffee makes a dent in the elite breakfast allowance.

More than? Coffee is $3 too so it just covers it.

Per the menu, the $12.00 continental breakfast already includes both coffee/tea and juice.
