Just noticed this whilst doing a UK search, pretty sure it’s not been mentioned before but I think I remember a rumour of a Doubletree opening in Birmingham a few years back.
No opening date yet but an interesting addition to the Hilton portfolio. |
I walked past the building site in April, was coming along nicely, location is more convenient for me than the existing 3 properties and also hopefully a bit more upscale :p Though my business in Birmingham is drawing to a close now.

Only saw this place when scouting out hotels on google maps.
Does anyone know if there are any updates on this place. Last news articles i found seem to suggest a contractor went bust and there have been stories about opening etc |
I'm not sure it is open yet- will check this week!

Rumoured to be built by the same company building Hampton Norwich airport…… apparently they are in financial trouble ( allegedly of course ) |
