I do like the question. I love rooms with a balcony and search them out.

The Hawaii Hilton's are good. The Hilton Paddington has some good balconies. The Doubetree in Dana Point and Santa Barbara have some good rooms with sea views.

As to Hilton hotels in Hawaii, I vote for Ali'i Tower - Diamond Head view at Hilton Hawaiian Village.

We had a corner room in the Rainbow Tower at HIlton Hawaiian Village that was amazing, one balcony faced the beach, and one over the Marina (and lagoon if you looked sharply down). One of our favorite rooms ever, even though the room itself was ordinary, with furniture that needed replacing!
