I was told just now that they were having problems but the points should be updated by the end of January without me having to intervene.
I suspect this is just to placate members and kick the can down the road.
In a similar way to airlines who when booking say you can sort out a seating issue at check-in, but check-in say you can sort your problems at the gate who say you can do it onboard. Crew onboard of course say it is too late to do anything now.
