So you weren’t targeted for the 5K/night resorts bonus?

No idea. I haven’t received an email from Hilton in 10 years!

It looks like according to the rules, if you check in on Jan 3 and check out Jan 4, you get the 2k. Is that right?

Am I correct in assuming that rates that don't qualify for points/stay credit such as airline rates will not accrue any bonus points?

Is that just one stay at the same hotel? So you will get just 2,000 pts plus one 10,000 pt bonus?

May I ask if there is any way you don't have to be there physically for a stay? As I am far away from a cheap Hilton I might just ask the hotel manager and tell him I want to book 30 stays in the next 2 months but will never be there? Anyone did something like this already?

Rumor has it that they got tired of people calling and asking to speak to Mr. Soze.

I just registered for this latest promo, but I currently have an upcoming stay in two weeks for 3 nights at the Hilton SF Financial District. At $275 per night and 2,000 points per stay this promo is not great. It seems it'll work best when your hotel hopping and the nightly rate at less than $200. Oh well...

Won't work. You must check-in in person. Even an App check-in requires that you open your room door with your phone to complete registration.

I remember the Hampton by Hilton Krakow being 5k per night and doubling to 10k around the time of this similar promotion last year. It was a fantastic redemption at 5k, and would have been even more so with this promotion!

Unfortunately there don't even seem to be too many 10k hotels left in Europe now. There were a few in the UK at 10k that I stayed in regularly, but they have recently doubled to 20k making them poor value redemptions even with this promotion.
