Kick Off 2019 with Points Unlimited Promo

Hi all,

With 2019 right around the corner, wanted to share a sneak peek of our next Hilton Honors promotion, which will launch January 4, 2019. You may recognize a similar offer from last year, but we upped the promotion based directly on member feedback and will be awarding 10,000 Bonus Points on both night AND stay completion. The full details are included below:
  • Registered members will earn 2,000 Bonus Points per stay during the promotion period
  • An additional 10,000 Bonus Points will be awarded for every 5th stay completed or every 10th night completed, whichever comes first
  • Each time a member achieves 5 stays or 10 nights, 10,000 Bonus Points will be awarded and the members stay/night count will reset
  • Promotion Stay Date: January 4 – May 5, 2019
  • Register here

Feel free to send over any questions, either on the thread or you can PM me directly. Wishing everyone on FlyerTalk a happy holiday season and all the best in the New Year!

Thanks!
Lauren

This is great! Do stays with award points + money count? Was planning a few of those.

Yes, as explained in the FAQ:

Will I earn Bonus Points for Reward Stays with the “Points Unlimited” promotion?
Yes – members will earn 2K Points per stay on reward stays. Reward stays will also count towards the 10,000 Bonus Point award.

If I were to make 10 stays - 9 stays of 1 night each, and another stay for 2 nights - would I get 30,000 points? (10,000 x 2 for 5 x 2 stays, and 10,000 for 10 nights) If so a great deal as you're earning 6,000 points as a diamond before the bonus points

I am so thankful that the lengthy list of non-participating properties for Hilton promotions is a thing of the past!

No. Read the third bullet point. Your counter resets once you receive a 10k bonus.

Hi, Lauren:

If I hit the 10 night point after the third night of a 5 night stay, I should get 10,000 bonus points and my stay and night counters should reset to zero. When I check out, my night counter should be at 2 (the 4th and 5th nights). Would my stay counter be at zero or one? I guess I am asking if the stay is credited at the beginning or end of the stay.

Is there any way we can see our stay and night counters for this promo? We would like to help Hilton by making sure they are operating properly.

The way I read the examples in the FAQ, your stay counter would be at zero but you would get 2k for the 5 night stay.

It’s economics the more you flood the market with currency the less its worth hence the goods you’re buying go up.
