Credits on AMEX HH

Credits on AMEX HH
So I just got an email from AMEX regarding a couple credits that have been posted to my account. These are from when I went shopping at Walmart. Didn't return anything. But now my account has been credited for both these shopping days. Not much about $50. Any ideas. Or anyone else experience this.

This happened to me yesterday too. About $29 worth. I'm curious...can you post a link to the discussion thread? I can't find it.

AmEx often has bonus offers (which you usually have to sign up for), where you get a credit on your bill if you spend a certain amount at a specific retailer. Could it be that?

No this is a 100% credit. Also saw one for ~$25

Agree with the above post. The AMEX credits are normally for even dollar amounts. The only current AMEX offer I'm signed up for is $5 off $15 (I think) @ Sams club.com. This was an in-store purchase for $29.XX and I received all $29.XX back. I guess I'll take it.

received a new credit adjustment (charge) cancelling out the earlier credit.

Just got my actual statement (yep paper). But on it I see where the charges went through 2x. So they had to credit the 2nd one back. Their error.
