Any opinions: A family member wants to transfer a not insubstantial number of points to me. Should it wait until this fun is over?

Stay from 10/30 - 11/3 has not posted yet. Account points total increased by about 3500 points from this morning. No idea what this might be as no activity is listed, the 3500 points are far less points than expected for the recent stay (even before Gold or other bonuses are considered), and doesn't correspond with anything from HHonors AMEX. In addition, the app is showing me as 6 stays from Gold while the website has 8 stays from Gold. Hoping all of this will work itself out over the next week.

This started happening several months ago...well before the IT debacle. The points arrived a few days later. Ah, the good old days.

Stayed 4 nights, 4 rooms, 1 room used an award to cover room charges. Hotel stay shows under recent stays, no points issued, all rooms show using the coupon. It has been a week. Do I wait or do I call? I need the points to book another reservation.

I didn't know pets could have accounts. Heck most places ban them.

Shouldn't be an issue with a transfer. Problem has been with getting credit for recent stays. BTW since you mention not insubstantial, remember there is a limit on number of points can transfer into your account.

I know most people are having issues with stay credits/points posting, but has anyone noticed award availability missing from hotels where it obviously shouldn't be? No matter if I check a hotel in Tennessee or a Hawaii, I'm finding plenty of dates with the standard room available and no award availability in the entire calendar. I assume it's related to the overall "IT maintenance" but still ridiculous to impact so many different areas.

My total points have updated, from a stay with check out 4/11 and the 40 nights 10k bonus has posted too. However, no past stays are showing (at all) and no points activity is showing either. It looks like the total points count is updating approx. 1 week after a stay.

New to this part of the board, but absolutely diabolical treatment from Hilton over this supposed upgrade!

No one on property seems to have clue about it and I have stayed at three properties this week, nothing is crediting, and I just rang guest assistance who said he is the French reservation line and to call back after 2pm UK time. He has no manager to speak to, no information, and no one to ask for help. This is a massive joke!

A "knowledgeable" person told me all should be updated Monday morning. Points are going to a place where they can see them (with delays) but are not transferring over to where we can see them or they can access to boo rooms..

New Computer System Issues

Has anyone else experienced issues ongoing from the “upgraded” Hilton computer system? I have experienced various issues around seeing availability and booking points rooms. Spent hours and numerous calls trying to properly book 1 night stay with points last night and today.

Points as well as stay and night credit posted today for a 11/3-11/4 stay. My 11/6-11/8 stay is not showing up yet even in a 0 points pending way.
