TBH I dislike the Hilton-properties on Jumeirah Beach. Never stayed at the Hilton JBR (did stay at The Walk which share the resort facilities), but from each visit I remember the beach/pool being extremely crowded.
OTOH I really enjoyed multiple stays at the DT Jumeirah Beach. Modern, good service and F&B, and a nice resort area (although literally overshadowed by the Address). Con for Diamonds is that there is no lounge. Also, its a suite-only property so for 2 people, the rates may be high.
In case you are exploring Dubai, another vote for the Conrad. Great location (both for metro and taxi), nice pool for a city hotel, great lounge offerings and overall nice rooms.
I am booked at the Hilton The Palm in a few months and keen to see how it compares to the JBR properties. The combination of a lounge, location and being a new property won me over the WA The Palm despite the latter being a luxury brand.
