Waldorf Astoria Breakfast Benefit Launches Jan 1, 2018

Hi all,

Wanted to share some exciting news before 2018 is officially upon us!

Starting January 1, all Waldorf Astoria properties will offer complimentary continental breakfast or an equivalent Food & Beverage credit for all Gold and Diamond members (and one guest) as part of the MyWay benefit option. We heard a lot of feedback from our elite members and know this is an important benefit, so we’re excited to roll this out in response to that feedback.

So if you’re celebrating New Year’s at a Waldorf Astoria, be sure to be on the lookout and enjoy your first breakfast of 2018!

Happy New Year,
Lauren

Excellent news. Now to see if properties will offer a full buffet or segregation.

I would hope European properties would go for full HBK.

Fantastic, excellent news, and though I can only speak for myself I can assure you that WA will see more business from me as a result.

What's the definition of "continental" breakfast?

This sure puts pressure on Marriott to do the right thing and expand breakfast benefits to Ritz-Carlton as well as resort-designated properties in its vast combined Starwood-Marriott portfolio.

I'm surprised no one has yet asked if the benefit will be like the breakfast at the LondonHouse in Chicago.

Good to hear this news. Hopefully, those hotels outside of the US will offer full breakfast like most of the Conrads, Doubletrees and Hiltons.
