I wonder if anybody has actually ever been successful just randomly trying to register for these Hilton promos. Targeted means targeted with Hilton - you're hardly likely to be targeted for something but not emailed about it.

Sigh...
I remember in the infamous 'free 100K points' charade there were a few people who mentioned they had stumbled upon the thread, clicked the link and lo and behold, bagged 100,000 points, while the rest of us got a big fat zero.... I guess some people maybe miss the original email somehow, or it gets filtered to junk. I know I generally don't closely read most of the nonsense emails I get from Hilton, unless I spot a thread on here about an offer doing the rounds.
