o Hilton Antwerp, Belgium
o Booked King Guest (entry level on a full 165euro flex rate 5 months ago) whilst HH-G
o Hotel Sold Out (full up) as of two weeks ago
o Initial online upgrade 48hours before arrival = King Family suite (old alcove suites)
o 7am on day still showing King Family Suite
o 10am on day then showin their best room
Royal Sinjoor Suite (also known as Presidential Suite) which I still got with 3pm checkin.

o Note - Checkin form I had to sign still showed me as HH-G (not my current HH-D)

Phuket & Bangkok

Just back from 10 days Thailand, both hotels offered good upgrade:

Hilton Arcadia Phuket: booked standard twin, upgraded to Junior Suite twin in Lotus Wing. Enquired after 1st night about Hilton Suite and was offered for remainder of stay. Upon viewing decided not to move: suite was little larger etc but a very long way from Panorama Lounge.

Hilton Millenium Bangkok: booked Exec King Room and upgraded to Exec King Suite. Lovely room with Desk/Sitting Room area and separate bed/bathroom. If any criticism the bathroom is not in proportion to the rest (i.e. small).

Hilton Dusseldorf

Booked standard king room, pre-upgraded one day ahead to 'executive king room' - when enquiring at check-in I was told that the room assigned did not show to the side I prefer (i.e. less traffic noise). Assigned to another room showing to the more quiet side.
Whenever in that room I looked down the floor plan and found out that the room I rejected was a Junior Suite, my actual room was not (although quite big in size and meeting my needs very well)

Per Room Rates and/or Reward Points required, Alii Tower Ocean View to Rainbow Tower Harbor/Ocean View would be considered a slight downgrade.
Also, per recent comments in the HHV thread, construction continues at the Rainbow Tower.
