Request Upgrade function within HH App
 

As per the title, have made multiple bookings ranging from next week to end of the year at Singapore, Hong Kong and Macau.

Have noticed that the "request upgrade" button being grayed out or when selected, shows "No upgrade available" or something along that line.

Anybody else seeing this issue? I've tried on both android (Nexus 6/SAMSUNG Note 8/Xiaomi Mi3) and apple (iPhone SE) and all showing the same issue.

I've clicked on dozens of times, and it has never worked. The one time it did, it was offering a Nor1 upgrade. I'm convinced it's just decorative.

I know it's for nor1 upgrade. But seems like it isn't working anymore recently. Is Hilton stopping the nor1?

They still appear to be coming through on the booking email but aren't showing on the web or the app for some reason.

Isn't the button redundant? Won't the hotel give you the best upgrade they can give you, given your status level and availability?

I never understood the point of the button anyways.

In my experience it just seems to be a way to provide the NOR-1 upgrade options for those using the app. It provided those options for my stays the up to a week and a half ago (haven't had any Hilton stays since).

Has anyone seen this button functioning in the app at all lately? It's grayed out for all of my stays, whether on points or paid and no matter what brand.

I have a stay coming up later this week where a wide variety of upgraded room types are available. Even if this was only showing NOR1 options, it'd be nice to look at them.

Not broken, just seems to be property and/or reservation specific.

Nor1 still offered via the App for my upcoming Hilton Times Square stay. Has never been offered for upcoming Hilton Stucky Molino Venice stay.

I actually sent Lauren a message about this today as I'm seeing NOR1 on the booking confirmation email and the pre-stay email but not on the app or the HH website.

I don't even have it greyed out, it's just not there but via the email there is a whole host of NOR1 options which is bizarre.
