Double points continuing?
 

Does anyone know if the current double points promotion is continuing past the end of the month? If there is a thread already discussing this then please advise.

Generally speaking HHonors will announce the fall quarter promo soon (before the beginning of the next quarter). It will show up on the usual suspects of various travel blogs and FT. Hilton, unlike some chains, seems to be in the habit of having a promo every quarter. (There hasn't been any rumblings of this changing, which of course does not mean it couldn't change, past performance future results disclaimer blah blah blah.)

Slightly before then (say around the middle of the month preceding the end of the quarter), worried FTers will start posting threads in the HHonors forum consisting of (loosely paraphrased) "when's the next promo being announced?!?!?!?"

Ahhhh I may be able to help - A while back Hilton randomly targeted diamonds offering 100000 points as a thank you for maintaining status, however those not targeted were miffed by this ( and rightly so!) but then hilton claimed that the quarter promos will no longer exist and those not targeted will have there own personalised targeted offers as good as the 100000 points offer, so I'm assuming the quarter promos will fizzle out and we will all get our own personalised offers to suit our travel styles and plans........I also heard that the world is flat and the moon is made of cheese.

I watched a documentary when a man and his dog went to the moon and found it was made of cheese.

Well, when there are options I tend to book my hotels based off whatever awards me best (status+promo). :D Feels nice to not be on the requalification treadmill since I have SPG and HH Gold as a bare minimum. SPG has come out with it's personalized offers through mid November, so come on Hilton. Your turn!

Hahaha, I saw that too! , seriously though hilton does come out with some poppycock now and then, my comments were obviously tounge in cheek and I had consumed some wine last night but I guess it's "see it before you believe it with hilton."
