Got my 2017 Diamond Card!
FedEx envelope, a little letter, and a new card. Same design as last go-round.
No gifty-type stuff, no fluff, just a new card.
TDM (headed towards Lifetime, one more year at a time...)

I made Diamond in 2013 and have never received a Diamond card, in fact, spent two years Gold before that and never received a Gold card either. Not that I really need either but, just makes you wonder how it all works...

I m Diamond with Hilton for about 5 years now, never got a card, and before I never got the Gold card - the only card I ever got was the one with no status - just after signing up. And yes I ordered a card several times.

So they DO exist! I qualified for Diamond December, 2014 and again last year and have never seen a card.
I think I have a Gold card that expired March, 2014 though

What exactly do people do with the card? It's not as though they ask for it at check in, or when accessing the Diamond lounge.

In a FedEx envelope? Odd they would spring for air delivery. When I get the physical cards they always have come in a regular standard mail envelope with maybe a deck of cards and some pretty pictures. I think I last got one a few years ago. I could care less... I use the one that updates dynamically on my iPhone in the Wallet app.
