Diamond benefit in room booked as non-diamond

We are going to book a few stays using my wife's points. I am diamond but she is not. What is the best way to make sure we can enjoy all diamond benefits. Thank you.

I'd say put both names on the reservation, and show your diamond card when checking in.

What I would do is book the room with your name using the points from her account (i.e. gift). Then shortly after call the property to add your account number to the reservation. And mention you are a Diamond so they might go ahead and tag your room for benefits. Also, ask again when checking in. They may only extend on-site benefits, but better than nothing.
