Diamond challenge timing question
 

if i do a diamond challenge, i gather from my email exchange, i stay 21 nights in 90 days and get the status.

it goes until early '17.

my question is, if i wait until say 2H'15 and do the challenge, would it go until '18? just wondering if i should delay the start date of my challenge.

No.

Status will always be valid for the current calendar year, then the next full one and the first quarter of the following year. So if qualified at any point during 2015, it will end 31MAR2017. For 31MAR2018 expiry (re-)qualification would need to happen during 2016.

Sorry to dig this up but am I correct to say:

. if I were to start the 90 days on 1 Dec 15 and reach the target in Feb 2016 - I would have Diamond for the rest of 2016, the whole of 2017 and until 31 Mar 2018?

Seems like it is best to do and meet a challenge as early in a new year as possible to enjoy the benefits as long as possible...?

Yes that would likely work, however most of their stuff is based on calendar year so I'd make sure there isn't an issue with breaking it up over the end of one year and beginning of next.
