Received LTD but was not targeted for the 100000 Hilton point promotion.

Hilton, if you are listening, what was the criteria used for targeting this point promotion?

I think it was LTD or 100k points (or ...).

Anyone surprised the low number reported here?

I am pleasantly surprised at the low number of LTD at least those reported here- where naturally- I would expect a high %. I have been very impressed with the program- have not seen the magnificent upgrades some have reported here- but maybe soon.

The initial package, the headphones, and gift card- all packaged and shipped with the finesse and class (and simplicity) i see most often in Apple product packaging.

I took the Tumi card- I am tumi nut case. Came home from NYC last night to some spare Tumi parts- to repair couple things on my stuff. Feet that had worn nearly completely through- and other parts- But do find myself wondering- if this program could turn out to be counter productive for the good folks at Hilton- having achieved it- never needing to qualify again- it at least opens the discussion in my head- should i go get some tier in Marriott for example- But then i dismiss that- i would be missing out on the crack that is HH points.

"Congratulations! You’ve earned Lifetime Diamond Status with Hilton HHonors."

I did not receive an email, but when I logged into www.hilton.com, this was the message that I received in my Account Overview.

I did check with Hilton earlier and I have over 1,400 nights and, of course, over 10 years as Diamond.

I just need 100 more nights at Starwood to become lifetime Gold.

1550 nights in 6.5 years...no lifetime status...

Does this mean I can stop staying at Hilton now and just wait 4 more years??? Interesting approach. Not happy but hey... :/

Might be worth a PM to our HHonorsrepresentative? Erin may be able to look into your case and they may make an exception...no guarantee, but certainly can't hurt to ask.

HTH, good luck.

I would think that 200 nights per year for 7 years warrants an exception. Give them a call

You would still need some kind of periodic activity or they will close your account.
