Arrived 1pm, concierge valet parks my car ( £40 - 24hours ) and I’m ushered through to reception, here I’m told I’ve been upgraded to a king deluxe room and room is ready, I had a quick coffee in the lounge before going up to my room on the 4th floor.

ROOM - it’s fairly large, huge superking bed , very comfy!, view of inner courtyard........sign says free minibar which consists of two bottles of water a cola and lemonade.........everywhere clean and tidy, spotless infact.

BATHROOM - again fair size, shower only but it’s huge.....plenty of towels and toiletries.

Went to lounge for afternoon tea, nice vibe fairly quiet too.

CAKES - creme brŻlťe, chocolate moose , scones, cream and jam......some finger cakes too.

SANDWICHES - cheese, ham and salmon / cream cheesecake open sandwich’s.

Now back in room, soon off to gym to do some weight training, then swimming.....will report back!

I've got a exec. suite with shard view - pretty impressive. Nice separate shower which the normal rooms don't have.

Still as nice as last time ...

Nice!...... I got an executive suite upgrade last April, very impressive!...... if you are in the lounge tonight feel free to come and say hello....... shaven head, trimed goatee, black carhatt shirt.

The gym here is quite impressive, very quiet only myself and one other guy, pool is nice too, albeit a little noisy as itís half term, no sauna but there is a pool fed jacuzzi.
Now back in room preparing for tonightís executive lounge experience.......will report back!

Thanks for the report Wizla, very honest as always.
The experience you had tonight was pretty much how I remember my last stay here, nice food, dissapointed they donít have the Brokers Gin anymore, but some of my favourite food there tonight, Iím parcial to a bit of coronation chicken and gyoza.
Sad they canít hire staff with smile mussles, would make everybodyís evening more enjoyable.
Hope you have a good night and enjoy the granola tomorrow 😋

Sounds like you're having a decent enough stay, wizla. I'm sorry to hear that your staff interaction has been poor - though I can't say I experienced this a few weeks ago while there. In fact I was motivated to rebook for another weekend next month when I got home!

But the granola. It's the same stuff. Don't panic about the absent Loseley yogurt... have a dollop of the loose Greek stuff in a town in the fridge counter with the fruit compote and granola. Perhaps even with an almond croissant for dessert... can't go wrong!

Enjoy - and hope you're getting a stop-off at Tibits.

They had bread and butter pudding here my last two stays! Has it disappeared? Was a nice "treat" to have.

Have they fixed the second elliptical yet? It has been out of order since October and was still not working when I stayed last month
