Ditto the above. I had a booking here for early January but have ditched it for a stay at the Edition London which I can get for a reasonable number of points (compared to this Hilton) & it's quite a bit closer to where we need to be for that evening. I don't see a stay here in 2022 here as I am travelling a lot again coupled with their stingy upgrades for diamonds. This used to be my number 1 go-to in London.

I used to think it was amazing but now I think is just “good “, no sauna in spa , no more famous honey nut granola and no more free pour drinks during happy hour with 6-8pm sitting rather than 5-30 to 8pm.
Don’t get me wrong it’s still up there but I prefer the Waldorf or park lane slightly.

I still think their breakfast is amazing, pastries still good quality ( unlike CW who have gone for the cheaper option), hot food amazing. I missed the afternoon tea, Iím sure that will return eventually.
Didnít mind not being able to pour my own drink, the guy I had made me drunk on 1 g&t so generous! The lack of upgrades is annoying esp when you can see in the app there are still suites available.

I see your angleÖ.. I too prefer it when they serve drinks as this feels more like an executive lounge it also stops the idiots raiding the fridge to consume as much as possible or put in a bag, the only issue I had with the system here is it wasnít efficient, the poor girl manning the drinks also had to go get the refills and help clear tables so many times she wasnít at her post and queues built up ,it then felt less like an executive lounge and more like a canteen.
I agree that the pastries was very good, I guess I just miss the awesome honey nut granola as it was truly epic.

I had a stay on Thursday. I had an upgrade to a Exec room, even though they had a big event on - . I went out so didnít have any time to sample the lounge or evening food.

The check in was a bit crap. I asked on the app for a 2.30 check in, a toothbrush and shaving kit. I arrived at 2.30pm and the room wasnít ready, no diamond rec., no welcome back, she couldnít find my booking and then the shaving kit/toothbrush wasnít there. I called down twice to get the items but they took another 30mins.

Breakfast was in the main restaurant, still a good spread but there has been cost engineering. I also donít think itís great that the labels are often wrong. Chocolate muffins label with a hazelnut bran muffin for example. They took my room number and said I didnít have breakfast included, I asked if diamond had restaurant breakfast but she said I wasnít diamond so, no. Eventually I just said charge me and Iíll sort it later.

Have a stay here coming up and looking forward to it. Bummer about the drinks not being self pour anymore in the lounge. Iím sure it gets old for the people serving it when they see me for the 4th time.

I wouldnít worry too much, there was a guy who drank a bottle of whisky with too ups whilst I was there and a girl proactively topped my Prosecco up all the time, including a 2nd glass before they finished serving.

Good to hear. The guys in the lounge at the Conrad Istanbul joked with me when I come back theyíll just bring me the bottle. Iím sure some of them judge me but meh oh well. Iíll be there over a weekend so I just hope itís not packed and a party scene. Cant recall exactly which hotel but I think itís the Canary wharf Hilton that is known for being a bit of a .... show on weekends.

I take it this hotel isnít great with upgrades? Night before and they moved me to a deluxe room and every category room is still available. Oh well Iím on a dirt cheap sale rate so I really canít complain. Iíll easily get my monies worth even in the room I booked. Maybe has something to do with only having 40 nights last year since I moved my other 30 to Hyatt to snag globalist.

Just ask at reception, they are normally able to do something further. The rooms are pretty good sizes even in the DL category. Enjoy the lounge and pool.

they let me check in at 10am so I couldnít bring myself to ask. Iím alone anyway but will be returning next weekend with the wife in tow so Iíll ask then. Lounge is nice and the coffee being available all day is a lifesaver after the overseas flight. Will for sure check out the pool later.

The pool is lovely, unfortunately no sauna but there is a pool fed jacuzzi up the other end.

Lounge is very good, my last stay on a Friday night was a little rowdy ( see review) but itís a good size and offerings are good sometimes great.

As Iíve said many time try the honey nut granola at breakfast, it really is the best!, although they didnít have any last stay but hopefully they have now....... the bar is a nice place too, great atmosphere....enjoy!

Eh rowdy doesnít bother me too much. Usually I prefer quieter but Iím probably going to check out some of the London casinos after a few drinks give me a second wind. Not like itíll be quiet there so no big deal tonight. Hotel really doesnít seem that busy at any rate.

if anyone cares I think Iíve seen 3 people wear masks here besides the front desk staff. A manager looking guy wasnít wearing one though. Nice to see peoples faces again.

Brief write up. Lounge staff is excellent. Guy saw me and had a drink poured for me before the line started which was nice. Meat pies and chicken were food options both of which were quite good. May end up cancelling my dinner plans. Going to check out the pool later. Turndown was offered and daily housekeeping is happening. Breakfast was good with made to order pancakes and eggs.

overall quite happy here especially at the rate I paid.
