Hilton Brussels Grand Place {BEL}
Some articles in the Belgian press yesterday: apparently the former Le Méridien will re-open as an Hilton on November 17th.

It's been rumoured for a while. I have never stayed here so I hope its good and its in the positive direction of further additions to the Hilton portfolio in Brussels.

Would be a good addition to the Hilton hotels in Belgium.
After losing the Hilton on boulevard de waterloo and the Conrad we only had the Hilton Brussels City .. The new one should have an executive lounge so this is also a good thing :) |

I have fond memories of the Waterloo property, having had an unplanned extended stay there in April 2010 courtesy of Eyjafjallajökull. |

Some of the best hotel breakfasts I ever had were at the Conrad. Me and my scruffy brother, trying to recover after a night of beer-drinking, among the billionaires/captains of industry/EU politicians. |

Maybe a good tip, combine your stay with a second night at the regular Hilton Brussel. That have a sell-out with rates from 69 euro!
