I stayed here once on a Diamond free night and I really liked the property, even if the location felt a bit sterile. I was upgraded to a lovely large one bedroom suite with a view of the back alley but it was quiet. The lounge was full of business types, so I went to find dinner somewhere else. I would not hesitate to stay there again if I had diamond status and a standard (80K) award was a possibility. I would of course, be taking chances of an upgrade, but I'm willing to take that risk.

I'd add that the Lauden chocolates are delicious, in a lovely box. Mrs Toothy really appreciated them

Had a good night's sleep
room was cool with the good ac and quiet.
Late check out of 1pm ( would have preferred 2pm as have the 10pm cathay flight but will leave my bags at the bell desk for an hour or 2 and get to Heathrow for 4pm and maybe shower in the lounge

Breakfast restaurant is moderately busy. Going for the pancakes
Some hot items on the buffet ie sausages bacon baked beans etc
Some smoothies and actimel yoghurt drinks but apart from the a la carte options the selection is average although the atmosphere is nice and quiet
lounge seemed busier than the restaurant.similar cold selection to the restaurant but the only hot itens were scrambled eggs, tomato and sausages
.the orange juice in the lounge is good ( with a bit of pulp) Did like the self service coffee machine in the lounge as the restaurant staff were not proactive in offering refils and no self service machine in the restaurant

My office is right by this hotel. If you want a very good coffee, go to Formative Coffee which is a couple of minutes' walk away.

hi

Thanks very much for the recommendation lost in translation. Did notice 2 Starbucks very close to each other whilst enroute
all tables were full when I first walked by but walked the mall and st james Park before coming back and a lot quieter now. It is very good
having a latteand pain au raisan before going back to the conrad and getting my cases and heading to Paddington and Heathrow t3

Went to the lounge before checking out at 1300 and had a pineapple soda and some grapes ( provided in the lounge)
