Short 10k in points. What to do?
So I am in the process of booking a five day stay, but I am short about 10k in points. Anyone have any suggestions on what I can do? I have avail. points with various airlines, however, I do not think any of them transfer into Hilton.
Open to suggestions.

I think requesting a gift in miles from the forum is against the policy. 
I did, however, check HHonors website and it said I could transfer miles from American Airlines to Hilton. However, I went to American Airlines AAvantage section and there is no way to do this.
Any idea on this?

I wonder if anyone knows of a slick workaround? For instance, could this OP merge his account with someone else who has a 10k balance he is willing to give up?
