Definitely not. AFAIK, there is no saying - "See Bratislava and die.". As for certain places in Italy on the other hand

Just checked in here for a short stay. Room is fine but no suite upgrade like most other diamonds reported on here and TripAdvisor. No water in the room either. But for 10k points it’s a great value.

I spent 6 nights in that hotel in January .. upgraded to suite, decent breakfast, nice pool and sauna, not too close from the downtown but a quick ride with Taxify. The restaurant on the other side (more like sports bar with food was great). One of the better value for money stays and probably one of the better DoubleTrees I stayed in.. wish it would have a lounge though, but for sure would come back.

Agreed - fantastic value. Can't fault it for not having a lounge in my opinion - to be frank I'm not sure what it would add. The restaurant breakfast is fantastic and the food and drink in Bratislava are so plentiful and so cheap that I don't think I'd ever use a lounge for anything.

Actually, you are right.. I was there in the winter, just after the stay in Tallinn's Hilton that has a lounge with an amazing view of the city and in general being my favourite Hilton at the moment, so that must have been why.

You do raise a fair point - during particularly horrible winter weather, I can see one not wanting to leave a property. So in that respect a lounge would come in handy.

When did this property become 20k per night? I’m sure it was 10k until recently.

The Vienna HGI is 20k now also.
