Oh excellent - thanks for that. What's your experience of receiving status benefits when you use your accommodation vouchers? Do they always respect status?
For F&B always received the promised 50% off (if dining with 2) upon presentation of the card. Tried it for Bangkok properties as well, but found the Millennium Bangkok only gives 25% for the steakhouse and rooftop bar. Buffet is still 50% off though. |
I was always a diamond, they always gave me my normal benefits... ie breakfast and lounge. Never received a room upgrade beyond the room booked. Hilton Malaysia, always gave me a suite otherwise.... still, I did get my standard diamond benefits. if your staying a week, it will more than cover the cost!

Don't know about you guys but their sites are http only (no https). Wouldn't chance signing in there.
http://www.premiumclubasia.com/ (doesn't load for me. Current location China) http://dev.premiumclubasia.com/ (loads ok but still http only) Pretty unprofessional if you ask me. |
Having trouble finding the fee. Is it still 7500 baht/year? if so, worth it just for the night at Conrad Koh Samui.
Beyond that, there are benefits, but not a ton as a Diamond, since i rarely eat in hotels in Thailand beyond the diamond breakfast and the lounge spread in the evening if i'm around. odd that stays booked with the discount don't earn HH points!?! seems silly since points are based upon what you pay- so the 20% discount is reflected in the points. obviously it targets people without status- but you'd think they'd want to bring them into the program for stays in the other 3000 (or whatever) hiltons in the world vs just 9! |
It's normal because the group offering membership and discounts is a third party. You only receive points when you book directly with Hilton.

Thanks for your replies. |
Anybody knows what is the membership price for Beijing?
|
Is this still a thing? Cannot find any sign up info online, just benefits info. Possibly staying at the Conrad KS for 4-5 nights and think this might be a huge benefit for dining/spa stuff.
|
I wonder if the signup is from a participating property only?

I've received status benefits in Thailand with these vouchers.
I've had to email the booking reference to the hotels and they add it to my membership number. However it is true that if they stay is using the voucher there are no points added to the stay! (the same way that if you use points for a stay you 'should not' earn points on extra spending. |
Does anyone know how to actually sign up for the Premium club? I will be at Conrad KS for a week as well as Conrad BKK for a few days and I think this would work out well us.
