Points for gift certificate?
Hello all,
I bought a gift certificate for my parents to stay at a HS at the Mall of America. The manager there told me I would have no problem getting HH points since I was the one who paid for the room. When I submitted a missing stay request, I received a letter in the mail informing me that I had been denied the miles due to the fact that the registered guest was not me. Has anyone had any success with this issue? Thanks!

I am wondering if anyone used or purchased a gift certificate in the past year. If so, was there a stay credit and points credit for the user or for the person who bought the certificate?
